News and opportunities for Artists ........

The first weekend in May, Tomahawk is hosting an Artwalk.  We have about 15 artists assigned to different businesses, but are need of a few more.  This is a juried event meaning all the artists have been juried in or are in by invitation if I know their work  The ArtWalk will be held on the weekend of May 1 & 2.  Artists are expected to be setup and present in the business they have been assigned to from 1-7pm on Friday and from 10am-4pm on Saturday.  There is no fee or commission from sales.  They may demo if they wish to.  On Friday night, there is also an “After Glow” party at the Rodeo Saloon with opportunities for people to meet the artists and business owners, food and drink, raffles and more. Housing for out-of-towners is available for free at local homes.

Interested artists should contact me ASAP—we’d like to finalize our list by Sunday night to allow time for promotional work.
