June 27 2019 Meeting
The summer show was judged last Friday June 21. Come to the WVAG meeting at at the Marshfield Clinic Weston Center to view the well deserved award winners this Thursday June 27.
Remember the doors may be locked after 5:30 PM. Check the WVAG Blogspot to check the entrances that can be used after 5:30 PM.
Sharon Feathers will be hostng the Meeting.
Pat Plunkett will be gining a presentation on Artistic Safety.
Artistic Safety Inspiration: Observations of lack of personnel safety on TV, things I hear and observe, personal experiences, have inspired me to give this talk. Boring, maybe but –very important to keep people from getting injured or worse. Knowledge of rules of safety can prevent loss of hearing, sight, ability to breath, and possibly save a life – not a dramatic statement, just fact.

Wisconsin Visual Artist Guild April 25 2019 Meeting
The next meeting of the Wisconsin Visual Artist Guild will be on Thursday, April 25th
Meetings are held in the first floor conference room at Marshfield Clinic - Weston Center, 3501 Cranberry Blvd, Weston, WI.
At the last meeting several people said they thought the meetings would be more interesting if we could present short demos at the meetings. Jackie Lescher has volunteered to give a short presentation on adding texture or collage to your acrylic paintings.
During the business part of the meeting we will be selecting the artist(s) who will be featured artist for the summer show which will be hung the first week in June. Definition of what it means to be a featured artist will also be discussed and refined so we can post the information on the WVAG blog.
If you have other issues you would like to discuss at the April meeting please add comments to this post on the WVAG Blog. Thank you
