I heard a good one today. How many times have artists been told that letting a venue hang your work at their facility for free is " Good exposure"?
Im thinking of a new standard response that goes ..... " 'Exposure us what you die of in the cold Wisconsin night alone in the dark'"

Perhaps that is where the term "starving artist" comes from?
Maybe if we can hang our work for "good exposure" others will see it and also want to give us the same "opportunity".
And just maybe, if enough people do this for us, we'll be able to work ourselves to death from "overexposure".
