Greetings!
Love translates well in any language and is expressed in countless ways. Love is revealed through the beauty of music, interpreted through the visual arts, shared as poetic words of love and often discovered in the eyes of a loved one.
Share the language of love at a two-part interactive art exhibit to be featured at the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center from February 10, through March 3. An opening reception will be held on February 10, from 5:00-7:00 pm.
The Main Gallery will present a juried fine art
"That's Amore" exhibit
Open Call to Artists ~ All art work to be juried must be delivered to the Cultural Center by February 7, 2012. All mediums accepted in 2D & 3D. Please include gallery labels with artwork. Registration fee of $15.00 (for first four) is due upon registration. Delve your artistry into life's most evocative emotion! Awards & cash prizes will be presented during opening reception.
The East Gallery will be brimming with an interactive photography exhibit titled, "What Love Means to Me". For this display, you may take a picture with your cell phone or camera and submit a 4X6 print on photographic paper in either black and white or color. Include your name and email address on the back, but note that pictures will not be returned. Please deliver your photograph or mail it to: Central Wisconsin Cultural Center at 240 Johnson St. Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495.
Submissions will be accepted after January 20, and until March 7.
