WVAG Member news
"Winter's Glory"
© Sharon Feathers
WVAG member, Sharon Feathers' watercolor painting, "Winter's Glory," has been selected for the Courage Cards 2013 Holiday Collection. The inspiration for Sharon's painting came from this poem:
"Perhaps they are not stars,
but rather openings in Heaven
where the love of our lost ones
pours through and shines down
upon us to let us know they are happy."
Eskimo Legend
Sharon's card can be viewed online at www.couragecards.org
Go to www.couragecards.org and click on the online catalog. There is a young man holding her card. His name is Jack, and he is in a wheel chair. His story is online. What an inspiration to see him holding Sharon's card. Congratulations, Sharon!
This is a opportunity for you to be a Courage Card Artist. Go to "our artists"on the site for the information.

Cost is $35 and includes painting supplies for class. All you need is an 11 x 14 canvas which you can purchase in store or bring your own. Van Gogh's "Starry Night" will provide the inspiration to play with paint and create your own starry, winter night painting with Nancy's upbeat, no-fear, what-if guidance. HANGING AROUND FOR HOLIDAY FUN
Since we are not meeting again until January, it was decided to make Dec 3rd a “fun holiday time” with food and cider; (beginning at 5pm after the clinic is closed.) Bring some kind of treat to share if you'd like to, then stay around to help hang the show if you would like to have even more fun!
Thanks to all those who give their time to help make our Exhibits happen!
