"Trees" Exhibition.

Opening Reception Friday March 23 4:30-6:30
"Trees" a fine art exhibition at the Howard Young Art Gallery will open on March 9th. This is a wonderful collection 11 artists from the northwoods who explore the notion of trees in their art. Karen Kappell and Barbara McFarland create mixed media and watercolor paintings. Artist, Sue Pucci, Nancy TeWinkel Lauren and Christine Alfery enjoy creating mixed media work. Nancy TeWinkel Lauren, Christine Alfery as well as Rosemary Ahmann are photographers. John McFarland work with pastels. Ron Warshall turns wood into sculpture. Artists, Connie Warshall and Mary Burns create tapestry wall hangings. And, poets John Bates, and Nancy TeWinkel Lauren, play with words to create romantic images of trees. Exhibition dates, March 9 - April 30. Opening reception is March 23, 4:30-6:30. Refreshments will be served. Howard Young Art Gallery is dedicated to supporting and exhibiting the art work of local fine artists.
