Art Teacher opportunity

Ely Greenstone is looking for Artists interested in teaching students during Children's Art Camp 2011.

This summer’s camp will be held Mon - Wed. June 20-23, Hours 9 - 12 at Miner's Dry in the Ely Arts & Heritage Center.
We’d like projects to be geared toward 2 different age groups, grades 1 - 3 and grades 4 - 6. We are looking at offering slightly different and more complex projects to the older children (10-12 year olds) and simpler projects for the younger (7-9 year olds). If you have a project that you feel would be appropriate to only one of the groups or needs to occur over more than one day please be specific in your needs. The children will be divided into groups of 10 or 11 children per group. We are expecting 50 children this year.

You may submit as many proposals as you like. We pay $20.00 per hour teaching time. Greenstone provides all materials and equipment. Greenstone also enlists volunteers to help so you can usually figure on at least one helper with your project. We will be looking at all proposals and making a schedule depending on projects submitted. Your project(s) may or may not be chosen depending on scheduling and variety of projects.
