'Midwest Seasons' returns to CVA

“The Center for the Visual Arts welcomes back its annual "Midwest Seasons" exhibit. The show features 45 works of art selected by Diane Canfield Bywaters, a professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.The exhibit opens to the public Friday night with a gallery gala from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Seven artists will share in $1,500 prize money during an awards program at about 6 p.m., said Katie Crotteau, CVA executive director. The show, in its 22nd year, features watercolor, oil and acrylic painting; photography; and a variety of sculptures created with metal, glass and mixed media.”
